Scan a location and see what is stored there

Open a location from the QR code on its label or from its exact name, then review the articles stored there and in its bins.

Walkthrough: Scan a location and see its contents

Scan a location label

  1. On the Dashboard, tap Scan location.
  2. Tap Scan with Camera.
  3. Point the camera at the QR code on the location label. The app opens the matching location.

Open a location without the camera

  1. On the Dashboard, tap Scan location.
  2. Scan the label with a handheld scanner into Location code or name, or type the exact location name.
  3. Tap Open Location.

See what is stored at the location

The opened location shows Articles in this Location. Each row gives the article name, article number and quantity at that exact place.

Articles stored inside a bin or another location below the one you opened have a link such as on Pallet 1. Open that link to go to the exact place that holds the stock.

What if the camera is blocked?

Allow camera access for this website in your browser's site settings. Then close and reopen the scanner.

What if the label is not recognized?

Hold the label steady inside the frame. Move closer or improve the light. If the label still does not scan, close the camera and enter the exact location name in Location code or name. If the app says Barcode reading is unavailable. Please try again., tap Retry to restart the camera.

Why does the location not open?

An article label cannot open a location. Scan a location label instead. If you enter a name, it must match one active location exactly. When several active locations have the same name, scan the QR code on a current location label instead.
