Get started with your organization

Choose the right organization, set up its inventory and projects, and use the dashboard to find work that needs attention.

An organization holds your company's articles, locations, projects and messages. Switching organizations changes the data you work with. An article describes an item; stock is its quantity at a location. A reservation protects stock for a project and dates without moving it.

Get access

Ask your company's administrator for an invitation. Follow Sign in and join your organization to create your invited account or sign in. For a new company account, use Contact us on the public website to arrange access. There is no public sign-up.

The public website explains the product workflow, features and common questions. Its pricing section uses the same contact route for access and billing. Sign in opens the app for existing users.

Choose your organization

  1. Sign in. If Choose an organization appears, find the company you will work for.
  2. Click Select organization on its card.
  3. To change companies later, open the circle with your initial and choose Switch organization.

The app may open the dashboard directly when an organization is already active. A link to a project or article can open that page after sign-in and organization selection instead.

Why is my company's inventory empty?

Check that you selected the right organization. Creating another organization starts a separate workspace; it does not copy your company's existing stock. If your company is missing, ask its administrator for an invitation to that organization.

Create a separate organization

Use this only when you need a separate company workspace and already have an account.

  1. Open Switch organization and choose New organization. An account with no memberships goes to organization creation instead.
  2. Enter the Organization name.
  3. Check Organization slug, the identifier used in its URL. It is suggested from the name. Use at least two characters: lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, starting and ending with a letter or number.
  4. Choose a country if needed and click Create organization.

The app opens the new organization's dashboard. Its data is separate from your other organizations.

Set up your team's work

  1. Create locations for warehouses, booths and the bins inside them.
  2. Create articles and enter their initial stock, or import a spreadsheet.
  3. Create a project with its team and dates.
  4. Reserve material, then load and receive the truck.

Administrators can invite colleagues and update organization details. Members can do the everyday inventory and project work. A project manager is an assignment on a project, separate from the organization's Admin or Owner role.

Find your way around

On a computer, use the sidebar for Dashboard, Projects, Inventory and Locations. On a phone, use the same four sections in the bottom navigation. The message icon opens conversations. The circle with your initial opens personal settings, organization switching and sign-out.

The dashboard's quick actions open scanning, article and location creation, and material movement. See all in the recent activity card opens the activity history. See calendar opens the project calendar.

When you open an article, project or location from its list, the previous and next arrows near the heading follow that list's order. For articles, the arrows also follow the active search, filters and sorting across page boundaries.

Review the dashboard's attention cards

  • Due this week opens the current month's calendar in agenda view. Check the dates in the list.
  • Material at risk opens upcoming projects whose reserved material is not fully onsite.
  • Not returned opens overdue material still at a booth or on a truck.
  • Trucks loading opens the trucks scheduled to load in the next seven days.
  • Unread messages opens the project inbox.
